What would Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. say about Barack Obama’s Spiritual Mentor?

What would God say about this type of preaching from the pulpit?
This couldn’t possibly define Black America because Black America is my America too! I would be ashamed if the majority of the people in this country believed what this man on the pulpit preached.
I can’t believe people actually read their Bibles and then turn around and are inspired by this Jeremiah Wright. If I had been attending those church services I would have picked myself up and left!
If I were Barack Obama I would be embarrassed to be associated with this man OR this church. We need a president who can associate him or herself with people ignoring their skin color.
I can’t believe we are actually going back to this type of racism in 2008. It’s disgusting and vile.
I have to wonder who else Barack Obama has aligned himself with over the years?
When somebody like this pastor goes against what the Bible says it’s time to pick yourself up and find another church.
Here’s my 2nd question:
At what point do you have a responsibility to disassociate yourself with somebody?
Obama hung out with this church and this pastor for 20 years!!!

You know what I find completely offensive in addition to the hate indoctrination he spews? He’s a total and complete HYPOCRITE.
He’s standing there ranting and raving about “rich white people” controlling blacks.
Excuse me, Mr. Rich Black Man? Mr. buy $365,000 worth of land to build a $1,600,000 million dollar, 10,000 square foot mansion to live in?
Wow… I’ll bet all the starving Africans he claims to be so sympathetic toward would love to live in the “USKKKA” as he calls it, so they could start up their own churches and become extremely wealthy off the tithes and offerings of all the “poor and oppressed” black people he says are being kept down by all the rich white people.
Man, maybe if someone keeps me down and oppresses me for awhile, I could have $1,600,000 to spend on a house too.

It’s disgusting to run into black people that attempt to benefit and take advantage of their own black brothers and sisters. I don’t understand that at all.
Now Obama is stating that had the pastor not stepped down he would have left the church. PLEASE People!! Does he expect me to believe that after 20 years of service to THAT church that he would have left the church?? Why didn’t he leave when their pastor was spewing that type of hatred??
Sure.. now that he’s running for President of the United States (trying to get the party nomination) he’s going to make it seem as though he didn’t know what made his pastor tick after all these years?
I’m sorry but that would be like me going to church with the KKK. NO WAY!! You couldn’t pay me to hang out with them OR go to their churches and I certainly wouldn’t pretend that I didn’t know what their agenda is after 20 years. Come on.. does he think we are STUPID?

Well, that was interesting- and enlightening. I don’t have answers to your questions yet but thanks for bringing them up. Seems I have some thinking to do.
