Two U.S. children went into comas after who swallowing Chinese-made Aqua Dots found to contain a chemical that converts into ‘date rape’ drug when ingested.

This entire toy recall situation is turning into a nightmare! What is going on in these factories? What are they trying to do, kill off the next generation?
I don’t think there is a 2007 toy of the year, do you?

Holy crap! That’s just RIDICULOUS…
I hope that any parent whose child has this toy gets RID of it… maybe some young kids are smart enough to not eat stuff like that, but what if for some strange reason someone, like a friend that comes over for a play date, or even a pet, does?

Just enforces my belief that toy companies and drug companies need to stop worrying solely on the bottom line, deal with unions, and start putting their factories back onto the soils of countries that do regular and routine checks on factories, and all that jazz.

Ya know…after I read about this story the other day, I began to wonder how long this could have been going on? I have 5 kids, my oldest nearly 15, we’ve bought tons of toys over the years and more than likely most of them were made in China. What if some of those toys were the cause of my kid’s mysterious fever or illness for a few days during the middle of summer when we thought it was just the flu bug? I’m no conspiracy theorist, but it made me wonder how long this has been going on before they were finally caught and now every toy is scrutinized. Just a thought.
