#TCOT – This was the note I shared with everybody in my address book last week. I was hoping to keep everybody thinking in this direction today. Maybe when you are out running errands you can pick up a card and send this man a note of encouragement. I’m not sure how I would react if I lost my husband, children, and mother-in-law in one day. This man has courage beyond the highest mountain.
I’m sure by now many of you have heard about what has happened to this man and his family. If not here is a brief synopsis:
I don’t normally send these things out but in this case I think it would be nice to send a word of encouragement to this man. He has lost so much and it’s Christmas.
Just in case you lose the above link here is the address:

Angela Stevens,
sorry to send a message this way, but I couldn’t find your email on your site – maybe I’m dumb.
I’m a producer for Purple States, we did the short video series for the NYTimes.com and the Washington Post about a team of citizen journalists covering the primaries and the election.
We are now in the middle of a series called 50/50/50, where 50 top bloggers from 50 states talk about the economy in their region – I read your empassioned plea not to bail out the auto industry, and would love to have you take part. Please visit out website – http://www.purplestates.tv – shoot me an email if you are interested and I can give you more details. Our initial Nebraska blogger has gone AWOL, so we’re under some time constraints.
Great site, and hopefully we can work together.
John
