This is what I listen to when I’m cleaning my kitchen

January 24th, 2008 by Angela | Filed under Ramblings.

I know my back-door neighbors probably think I’m crazy because I know they can see me dancing while I’m rinsing off the dishes. What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good dance beat!

I am bored out of my mind with the internet, blogging, networking, reading blogs — I’m just BURNED OUT!! I’m over it!! I’ve had enough!! I’m putting myself on a different schedule. That’s it!! I just have to do it and stick to it.

Politics is boring me — our country is headed toward recession and all they can think about is how to save the business owners. What about the homeless peeps out there living in a box trying to stay warm?

I don’t even want to see a political news report about who’s running for what OR what so-and-so said during such-and-such debate — they all suck!! Politicians can not be trusted — PERIOD!! Had Oprah Winfrey run with Obama then that might have been something to get excited about BUT she didn’t — so there you have it!!

I stepped on the scale Monday and I think I gain weight by simply breathing air. How many calories does air have if you’re not eating anything?? So I’ve got this gig going where I will weigh myself once a week and measure my inches once a month. I’m still in the low 170’s. I have got to lose some serious lbs by the time June rolls around. I can NOT go to my 20th reunion FAT. I will NOT!!

The blogosphere is boring!! I’m so sick of reading tips and tricks on how to write, how to WAHM from home on the computer, and how to be PC when you write online that I’m about ready to delete my news reader and be done with it!! There are so many DIY making money from home guru’s and blog nuts that I’m OVER It!!

The only exciting thing that has happened was the Gauntlet III is on MTV and their 1st episode was last night. CT is gonna get his butt dumped by Diem if he doesn’t watch his adult beverage consumption. Other than that — I’m just BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!

You sound seriously stressed out, hope things ease up if that is the case. I can’t stand the politics right now, it’s just too funny. Let’s all just go back to high school. That’s how the democratic side is acting anyways, I haven’t even watched the republican side. I simply change it when I see it’s a political thing and head over to cartoons.

That’s why I delete blogs so often…pure boredom….and a few other reasons, but really I get right where you are at and can it.

Bored with blogging? Yes, I understand. I am starting to feel the same way. I write more about my life and less about other stuff. Probably boring to other people, too!

Keep up on your weight, Honey. I have confidence in you!

Sorry you are feeling so down in so many ways. I understand about the politics, the blogging and weight. There are some good, bad and ugly blogs out there, and finding one’s that interest you can be few and far between.
I haven’t got bored with blogging yet, but it is centered around a subject I LOVE, ART! Probably boring as hell to many people who are not into art, but for my family and friends they love it.

Sounds like you just need to take is slow, and maybe not blog for a while or at least slow the posts down. As for being PC, I don’t like the idea of caving in to it or worry about it. You are who you are and say what you need to and if people don’t like it they don’t have to read it.

    ps. enjoyed the music video.

Nothing is inherently boring. Boredom is unknown to me. But I do get fed-up regularly.

Any action or experience can be taken to the point of sufficiency. It doesn’t make sense to take any more.

Eating pancakes is good, but eat them 3 times a day and you’ll soon be fed-up with them. If, for a while, you had to eat nothing but pancakes (or had nothing but pancakes to eat), you might not be anxious to order them again any time soon.

The pancakes haven’t changed one bit, only the way you view them has changed. You have had enough for a while. Maybe a short while, maybe a long one. My Dad still won’t allow Spam (the canned meat) in his house because he had to live on it for a while in WWII.

So you are fed-up with the internets. No sweat! Its only natural. Change is usually good. I quit my WSJ subscription and stopped watching the news on TV months ago. They didn’t get any worse, I just got fed-up with them. Maybe next week.

I’m not really stressed as much as I am just feeling blah. I would suspect trying to figure out what my birth control options are might have something to do with it.

So when you get to this point Becki you just delete your blogs? I don’t know if I can do that on this blog. It’s got my name as the domain. Although it has crossed my mind to can it and go with a more anonymous alias. Do you know how much trouble blogging can be when your family and friends know where it’s at on the net? I guess I’m just to the point where I don’t really care what people think of me so long as they make an honest effort to get to know me. You can’t really know me as a person by reading my blog, at least not all of me anyway.

Marie – my friend – I’m trying to keep up with the weight loss as best I can. I report on it every Monday on another forum and may consider doing the same here. So far I’ve worked out every day this week. That’s pretty good if you start the week on Sunday. ;)

Jafabrit – THANK YOU!! Ya know, I love her CD. I really like ALL the songs on it. It’s actually worth it to have the CD because all the songs are pretty good. You should see my girls breaking out to the beat while I’m cleaning the kitchen. It’s hilarious!

PTG there is so much truth to your examples. It’s so true too. I like pancakes but if I had them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner it would suck.
