Do you remember where you were last year and what you were doing when you found out about what had happened at Von Maur via Westroads Mall?
I wanted to take a moment today to write about this and pray for those that have been affected by this tragedy in some way, shape OR form. I want to pray for the victims, survivors, family, friends, workers, co-workers of all that were touched.
I don’t understand what possesses a person to take the lives of innocent people. We are intricately made and are a miracle from God. I just pray for peace overall and that somehow lives are touched and that good can prevail.
Here are some Von Maur posts from last year:

Last year our family bought two Christmas ornaments from Von Maur and I think we will head back there this weekend to pay our respects and purchase another ornament. Please just pray for the city of Omaha and for all that were effected by this moment in time.

I was right here, where I am now. In my office at home, wondering what the hell happened. And I recall knowing the early facts would be overstated and panic-ridden. As they were.
Sad day.
