Hat Tip: Post Secret’s Sunday Secrets

We’ve been having a same sex marriage and protection traditional marriage discussion here, here and here.

How ironic that I would see that photo on Post Secret’s Sunday Secrets in my news reader. It’s almost as if it were a coincidence that I was supposed to see today.

So the photo says that he/she is a college professor who gives better grades to the students who support same sex marriage.

Imagine That!? I don’t think that’s right at all, do you?

I think it’s important for teachers and professors to remain neutral on those subjects. It should not affect how they grade their students. I think the only time subjects like this can come up is if somebody brings it up and then it should be made known that the opinions expressed within the context of the classroom remain just that, opinions. Nobody should have to suffer just because the teacher doesn’t agree with an individual’s thoughts, feelings and opinions on such matters.

I think it’s ok to discuss politics and religion in schools and in any sort of classroom setting as long as everybody is being respectful and that those that disagree get to agree to disagree after everybody has a chance to share their viewpoints.

I don’t support same sex “marriage” so I’m sure I would probably ruin my GPA if I took classes with THAT professor.

This professor is a SCUMBAG! And I hope she gets found out and loses her job.
Being in favor of SSM marriage is a personal decision that she certainly has a right to support. But she DOESN’T have a right to treat her students so unfairly.
    What a dirtbag.

I quite agree! I don’t have anything against SSM at all but everyone is different and I absolutely believe that to be a teacher of any kind means that you must stay neutral. They have no right to push their opinions on their students or make the threat of giving different grades just because of people’s personal values and beliefs.

It’s definitely the pot calling the kettle black on the issue of tolerance for sure!

John McCain wasn’t even born in this country! So if he is a US citizen (and arguably may have had dual citizenship) why wouldn’t BO who was born in Hawaii but may have been a dual citizen due to his parents?

New Jersey Secretary of State Nina Mitchell is a dip shit!
The founding fathers and the first congress already addressed this issue!
