Obama’s Underprivileged Children

How do you “feel” about Obama now? He’s made a bunch of promises, he says a bunch of nice things, he tells you what he’s going to do, and then he does the EXACT opposite.

You all thought that Obama was for the little people, the minorities, the very least in society. You all thought our education system was going to be improved with Obama as our president. WRONG!

I listened to a woman on the radio today pleading with listeners to call their elected officials to urge Obama not to cut the educational opportunities that underprivileged children have been afforded. Yeah, good luck with THAT one.

For Obama, the solution to everything seems to be government and spending. But in improving education, more of neither seems to work.

In his address to Congress, Obama was clear that he understands it’s not just money but how it’s spent. ” …our schools don’t just need more resources, they need more reform,” he said.

According to Carson, “My mother worked as a domestic, two, sometimes three jobs at a time because she didn’t want to be on welfare. She felt very strongly that if she gave up and went on welfare, that she would give up control of her life and of our lives, and I think she was probably correct about that.”

The D.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program is on the line. The woman I heard on the radio today is from Washington D.C. and her children have been in the program for four years. Her kids are about to be yanked from the Scholarship Program thanks to the guy you voted for, Barrack Obama.

Congress does not care about the Parker kids and their success.

But, maybe you do. I encourage you to call your representatives and tell them to stop their destruction of a successful education reform.
