I don’t want to get any messages saying that “we are holding our position.” We’re not holding anything. Let the Obama Administration do that. We are advancing constantly and we’re not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy. We’re going to hold onto him by the nose and we’re going to kick him in the ass. We’re going to kick the hell out of him all the time and we’re going to go through him like crap through a goose!

I had the honor and privilege of serving part of my Army tour of duty at Ft. MacPherson (Atlanta, GA). In the lobby of the post’s Forces Command HQ (Patton Hall) hung a portrait (the one featured in the movie) of the no-nonsense military leader.
I agree with you and I agree with General Patton: In dealing with the enemy, it is not enough to merely hold one’s ground. Neither is it acceptable to “pay for the same real estate twice.”
