No congratulation speech from NObama!?

I too have noticed many of the CNN correspondents are not happy about this move on behalf of the Republicans, Democrats, Independent Thinkers and Fence Spotters. You would think there would be a more fair and balanced approach over on CNN, Not!

Even so.. that doesn’t stop me from flipping the channels back and forth just to be reminded of who reports the facts without offering up an opinion.

A lot of interesting comments were left over on The JAWA Report. One Iggert said something about how Sarah Palin has no experience. Compared to the Presidential nominee NObama she’s got a hell-of-a lot more experience than he does! I can’t wait to see the show-down between Sarah Palin and Big-Mouth-Biden.

Apparently there are going to be some extremely sexist, derogatory remarks from people that don’t think woman are qualified to be in a position of power. I strongly disagree! Here’s the comment I’m referencing:

What function is she even gonna serve in his administration? IS she gonna friggin bake everyone brownies while they try to decide whether to even say anything when Putin invades Ukraine? - Sibert (the Iggert I mentioned earlier)

The hard core leftist looney tunes can’t hang apparently..

Sarah Palin is what this country needs behind John McCain.

If you have a problem with a Woman being in a position of power over a Man or anybody for that matter.. I personally take issue with you.

Going back to the Bible I would have to say that God gives each of us a gift and who is anybody to say that a Human Being can’t use their gift that God gave them. It brings me back to my favorite verse of all time:

There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

It’s too bad NObama didn’t pick Hillary Clinton to be his VP running mate. Even so, I’m flippin’ excited about Sarah Palin running for office along side McCain. God gave her a gift and she’s using it whether you like it or Not!

I just can’t bring myself to watch CNN..gag!

Well, I guess when it was a woman for the libs they were gungho, but now with a woman for the Republicans they will all show just how hypocritical they can be.

I am still doing my happy dance!

Have a great weekend, Angela! ((HUGS))

I have to admit– when I first heard, I was REALLY disappointed. I was really hoping he’d pick Romney. With all the concern over the economy, oil prices, the mortgage crisis etc– I really felt like Romney would pull the most fence-sitters over to McCain.
So when I heard it was Palin I was crushed.
My first thought was– you just lost Mr. McCain. You gave it all away JUST so you could have a woman in there to be another “first” in the White House. But most people have never heard of her– alot of people are going to compare her to Obama as being inexperienced. (Based on the fact that they’d never heard of her, so therefore she must be inexperienced…. the same lame-brain conclusion that Iggert came to.)
Then I heard her bio on the radio, heard her accomplishments and about the great things she’s done in her years in government (she’s actually gotten stuff DONE)– heard her views on the issues, etc. Then I heard her speech–
    and she won me over.
Yes, being a woman IS a big plus for the campaign.
But not only that, she’s EXPERIENCED!!
    She’s staunchly pro-life.
She’s from Alaska!! Drill baby, drill!!!
She’s made great economic decisions for Alaska.
She’s actually gotten stuff DONE. She doesn’t just spew out lofty ideals.

The thing that I like about her pro-life position is that she is not without a compromise when it comes to doing whatever it takes to save the life of a mother. That is HUGE in my book too.

Romney would have been a good choice but then it would have been difficult to convince people that it’s not going to be more of the same. I’ve come full circle on Romney and am glad I gave him a chance to get to know him. I don’t think this will be the last that we’ve seen from him.

Yes, Sarah Palin can get stuff done. That is what impresses me with her. The other thing is that when she speaks she truly speaks. It’s not rehearsed, it’s not politically correct, it’s not melodramatic, and it has a twinge of her own fire. She’s AUTHENTIC.

McCain hit a homerun with his pick. You know Barack HUSSEIN Obama is crapping in his pants right now. He must see the writing on the wall.

I can’t wait to see the Vice Presidential debate..

She doesn’t seem like the type of person that is going to play nice with the good ol’ boys.

Angela, I can’t wait to see that either. That is going to be one exciting debate. She is a tough woman, and I hope that toughness comes out during that debate. =)

By what I’ve heard from several sources, different political pundits, etc– they expect her to totally crush Biden during debates.

Tracy, I hope that she does crush Biden in the debates. =)

I wonder if Joe will show up drunk? I’d rather see her crush him while he was sober. The picture of Sarah beating up on a drunken Joe Biden is almost obscene.
