My New Years Resolution & Happy New Year!!
Posted by angela on 01/4/07 in Domestic Ramblings
It’s been a very interesting beginning to this new year for me and our entire family. There are some things that I have been able to blog about and other things that I choose not to blog about because when you almost lose a family member OR you come close to losing a family member it is very hard on the mind and soul. You can just know that everybody in my family is safe and that Angels hover over my kids on a daily basis. I’ve also come to the realization that my children (especially the little ones) are made of rubber - thank God!!
My New Years Resolution is to be a lot kinder to myself. I intend on not dwelling on the past. I will not participate in misery loving company. I will refrain from surrounding myself with negative people. If family members and friends want to be negative and ugly and be forever miserable in their own lives then they will do it far far away from me because I will have no part in it. I also plan to call it like I see it - I don’t care who you are or where you come from you will get nothing but direct honesty from me.
Would love to know about your resolution in the hopes that you are kinder to yourself too.
Happy New Year!!

Every year I make goals, this year my resolution was to not making any resolutions.
This way I don’t beat myself up for not doing them. Granted I did give in a bit but they are things that will be done no matter what. Take some time for myself (still wondering how this will work), give birth and get back on a schedule once baby is born.
