Michelle Obama Messed Up Big Time!

Does Michelle Obama Dislike America?

Now, the problem with that statement is the words “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country.” Perhaps Michelle Obama simply misspoke. That happens all the time when you give speeches. But Mrs. Obama said it twice in two different speeches.

Now I’m willing, I’m willing to give Mrs. Obama the benefit of the doubt if she wants that benefit. The problem is she’s been silent, letting others speak for her. - Bill O’Reilly

I knew when I heard her say it for myself yesterday on Television that she had really messed up at that moment.

What a poor choice of words in her speech yesterday. I’m still waiting for her to clarify what she said. Has she done that yet because I sure can’t find it anywhere. Maybe one of you has a YouTube clip OR a link that can point me in that direction.

The McCain camp was quick to pick it up.

As for me, there are many instances where I am proud of my country and other days, with all the stuff that goes on, where I am really embarrassed of my country. Overall I am proud of my country but sometimes I wonder when certain people in my country will get their heads out of their butts.

Ya think?

Yup that’s a really deep pile of crap she’s stepped in there.

Oh yes! At first I was thinking that perhaps people misunderstood her but when I heard what she said in the context that she said it - quite disappointing. She’s a brilliant speaker too. Quite intelligent. Boy did she screw THAT up!

Why is everyone questioning what Michelle Obama said?? She spoke the truth and everyone is claiming that she “messed up.” So, you are telling me that every single person in the United States is, or has been proud of their country at every waking moment?? That’s nonsense! All Michelle was trying to say is that she is proud of her country and the decision they have made to support her husband. I believe that she feels a sense of hope that things will change in the future (if Barack is elected) and Bush is out!! Read her quote again: “for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback.” What’s wrong with that?

Who said anything about “every waking moment”??
That’s exactly the OPPOSITE of why people are disturbed by her comment.
Michelle Obama said it was “THE FIRST TIME” in her adult life she was proud of her country. That’s completely the OPPOSITE of being proud of our country at “every waking moment”.
