Where does this put illegal immigrants? I’m sure you can probably fill in the blanks on your own.

What is going to happen if all the smokers wake up tomorrow and quit smoking because they can’t afford to pay for cigarettes in this bustling economy that we are living in?

Obama isn’t done with this plan of his.. he wants to cover every single American. Uh excuse me but where does that leave illegal immigrants? How are WE going to pay for all of this?

Everybody knows that the government can’t even take care of our military veterans and we are supposed to rely on them to provide quality healthcare for every single American too? Uh hello, I was an Army brat for years and got to see how government healthcare works first-hand. It’s bad enough our government is not providing enough for our armed forces veterans.

Maybe I don’t want the government to cover me while my husband already has a job with decent healthcare coverage for our family. Do we still have to fork out money if we are not relying on the government and providing for ourselves? That little voice is telling me that the government still wants to tax me on this one because let’s face it.. there aren’t enough smokers out there to foot this new legislation.. right?

Want to take a wild guess who is going to be footing this next adventure in healthcare? Not only are we providing healthcare for our own family, without the help of the government, but we will have to turn around and help to provide healthcare for people that #1 are not here legally and #2 that are not doing everything that they can possible do to take care of their own families. In other words, families that are not taking personal responsibility and want the government to provide EVERYTHING for them.

Here comes that tax increase for the middle class that Obama promised would not happen during the election. He and Princess Pelosi are probably the biggest liars on the face of the Earth.. well.. not the only liars.. I know a couple of liars outside of politics but that’s another blog post.

Finally somebody from the UK that was not afraid to speak up on Michelle Malkin’s blog about how HORRIBLE the HS healthcare is…

Here in the UK, we pay through the nose for the NHS which provides below par health service. Ask any Brit and they’ll tell you horror stories about how long they had to wait for treatment, how poor the quality of service was and how big a waste of national resources. Many companies (including the one I work for) tout _private_ health care as one of their benefits. If state funded health care was so good, why do we need private health care at all? Keep in mind that we’ve had state funded health care here in the UK for almost 60 years now and the system still sucks. Nobody who has any choice wants to rely on the NHS alone.

I’m curious. In addition to free health care, what do you think that people are _entitled_ to? State funded health care has failed all over the world. It’s moronic to think that it would somehow magically succeed in the US of A. Socialism only appeals to liars and fools: The liars pedal the goods, the fools consume them.

My favorite part of that comment was the part about how Socialism only appeals to liars and fools. That is SO true! It’s the same people looking for a way out because they don’t want to have to go the extra mile to make the effort in their lives to take responsibility for their own actions OR lack thereof. Liars and Fools. That’s probably the perfect title for this post!

By the way… my 17 year old senior in high school is still working not 1 but 2 jobs to put gas in her car, pay for her entertainment, save money for college, etc. She is learning how to take responsibility for herself. She is learning how to earn a wage and to feel good about paying off some bills that she owes for some of her extra curricular activities. She called me the other day proud that she had payed off the last of her cheer leading expenses for the school year. She was proud of all her hard work, she took care of business… and my country wants my child to foot their bill? Uh hello… but  how is THAT right?
