I’m an Independent Voter too!

I’m an Independent Voter and can think for myself even though I’m registered with the Republican Party. Just because I’m registered with the Republican party doesn’t mean I will vote Republican each and every time. It’s nice to find folks that think the same way I do even though we may not agree on every little thing.

I found another Myspace page I think is worth another look:

Everyone is welcome here except Obama supporters! If you will only vote for Hillary or are going to write her name in, you’re welcome here! If you are going to vote for McCain, you’re welcome here! If you choose not to vote at all, you’re welcome here! If you are voting for a third party candidate, you’re welcome here! BUT if you are going to vote for someone that is inexperienced, un-American, most likely racist, and a hypocrite…, in other words, Barack Obama, then this is not the page for you.

Just for the record, I am now and have always been an Independent Voter! Most of the time I vote Democrat but not exclusively. So there is no need in commenting, or messaging me that I am not being true to the Democratic Party because I am NOT a Democrat! My first choice will always be Hillary but if I can’t vote for Hillary then I will vote against Obama.

Change is just a Slogan! Okay, change would be great but who the hell thinks anything major is really going to change anyway! Give me a break…. it’s so easy to get votes by saying “I’m for change”. Every time there is an election someone claims to be the change candidate (usually the one that is NOT the incumbent of course). Let’s see… Kerry was going to be the change, before that Bush was the change (and look where that got us) before that it was going to be Dole, and before that, guess what, it was a little known governor from a small southern state… Bill Clinton! Change my ass! Has everyone forgotten about congress! Obama can’t change anything without them and they’re going to be the same old people… Oh Wait! Remember ‘06, we all wanted change so bad we elected a whole bunch of new democrats to congress… what changed? Nothing! Who knows? Maybe Obama can change something. Maybe he can be the weakest Commander in Chief in our lifetime, getting us out of Iraq so irresponsible that it puts thousands of our troops in harms way and throws Iraq into civil war… Maybe he can get us universal health care at the expense of social security. Or maybe he can make the divide between Republicans and Democrats even bigger. Hell, he could “change” the whole damn country. Who knows what Obama could be capable of? Seriously who knows? He hasn’t done anything so we don’t know what he can do… So be careful what you wish for. Change? You just might get it. But don’t be surprised if it’s not the “change” you wanted! Don’t let the media tell you how to vote! - NObama 08

Ok…..So much for what you think Obama can’t do. So what do you think McCain will do besides pick up where Bush left off……Oh lets see continue pushing the middle class under the the dirt, thousands of American continuing to loose there jobs (funny….the state of Texas seems to be prospering in the job markets and at reasonable to satifying starting wages also). Those who oppose the democratic vote in 2008 are opposing to the ideal of an African-American with an Islamic name to be in office as the next President of the United States. BOTTOM LINE those who oppose will never admit to the truth because of their fears of a black man being President. Granted it doesn’t help when you have rappers going about it the wrong way of which they really need to learn to shut and be quiet. Barack Obama is just as intelligent, smart and educated as McCain. Both men have alot to bring to the table but both have different styles in handling our nations matters at hand. I don’t knock Senator John McCain nor do I knock Senator Barack Obama. This country will never change as long as well have ignorance, racism and division amoungst the people. Think before you open mouth and incert foot, read the facts because you will be surprised at what you find.

    -Bottom Line-
People are afraid of a black man being next the President of The United States. If they beg to differ they are only in denial.

But check this out: You can fool man but you can’t full GOD……..GODS Knows

What makes you think that McCain will be more of the same? Or is that an excuse people are going to use just because it sounds good? If I recall, it’s McCain that’s not afraid to go against party politics to stand up for what he believes in. He’s made choices that were unpopular to the Bush administration and didn’t care what President Bush thought… so I don’t think THAT particular excuse that he will be more of the same is going to fly with me.

I’m also not a huge fan of people that go for conspiracy theories, so if you are trying to make a connection between Bush and Texas you can forget it… it just doesn’t fly with me and it will not. Stick to the facts.

When you say rappers, were you referring to P. Diddy aka: Diddiot? I saw his video and quite frankly I’m not impressed. The man can’t even speak proper English. And this from a BIG fan of reality TV and shows like “Making the Band” etc… perhaps I need to rethink what I watch. (I can’t help it at times because I’ve been watching MTV since it came out in the early 80’s) Oh and then there is Kanye West who thinks President Bush hates black people. WHATEVER. I’m so sick of people getting caught up with race. I almost feel sorry for Obama because it’s as if many black people (not all) are going to make it difficult for him to get into the White House. Nobody wants to have a president that has to 2nd guess every single decision because a select few want to make everything about race. Oh Please give me a break! It’s just not gonna fly with me.

I’m NOT afraid of a black man being the next President of the United States. I don’t have a problem with it one bit. What I do have a problem with is people making race the platform as to why this particular black man should be elected as our President. Uh excuse me, I don’t give a flying leap what color he is!?

I’m pretty solid as to where I’m at with the Man upstairs too. Galatians 3:28 says, There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

I think I’ll get that tattooed to my foot! :)

McCain supports Bush always had. The same mess will continue to get worse not better. And oh……Take a chill pill. You sound hostile. As for Obama he is not second guessing anything that has been said or done by anyone. You stated “I’m so sick of people getting caught up with race” Sweet heart you can be sick and tired all you want you can’t change reality and that is race is an issue. There is racism every where you go on every level so your sorry statement isn’t going to fly with me and no one else for that matter. I almost feel sorry for Obama because it’s as if many black people (not all) are going to make it difficult for him to get into the White House. The only one who is going to make it difficult for him to get in the white house are people such as your self with your hostile comments. Like I said in my previous comment “DENIAL” is a racists hidden fear to hide behind. “HELLO….” CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW???? Nobody wants to have a president that has to 2nd guess every single decision because a select few want to make everything about race. Don’t get it twisted sweetie Obama doesnt second guess a single decision. He is doing his job as a candidate just as Good Ole boy McCain is.

Oh Please give me a break! It’s just not gonna fly with me”. It doesn’t matter what does or doesn’t fly with you sweetie you speak with an angry tongue and this is why your only source of venting is through your computer. Now walk away and go get a drink of water and starting all over or maybe go take your MEDS because you sounds like you can fly if things don’t go your way.

Get over it and pray about it because there is nothing that you nor I can do about the situation at hand. Your only way to bring about change is to vote so instead of leaving these angry comments that don’t amount to a hill of beans in a pile of dung, go out and campaign for who you believe in because I am, you might feel better about who you are as a person (one person……..).

    Yes you do……..

What I do have a problem with is people making race the platform as to why this particular black man should be elected as our President.

Uh… hello…. he is the only black man running so what are you talking about????
    _______________________________________________
Uh excuse me, I don’t give a flying leap what color he is!?

Yes you do your in denial just as I stated before deep down you have a problem with it and I truly pray that you get your heart and mind right with Christ before it’s too late for you………..

I’m pretty solid as to where I’m at with the Man upstairs too.

I don’t refer to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as the man upstairs, are you ashamed to speak of the sweet and holy name of Jesus????

Galatians 3:28 says, There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Anyone can get a bible and quote scripture you could’nt even refer to Jesus in a respectable manner. GO LAY DOWN!!!

Don’t you just Love it when you tell somebody your thoughts on something and they tell you how you are supposed to feel?

I could say that I like Milk and Melissa would pop on here and say, “no you don’t.” LMAO

As for Obama running for president… who cares if he’s half black and half white? I don’t care what the color of his skin is, do you? He could be purple with pink polka dots and I wouldn’t care.

Galatians 3:28 is one of my favorite verses… always has been. Those that know me well already know that about me.

    Have a nice day y’all.

Opposing a democratic vote is opposing an African American - um, no. Believe it or not, Melissa, not everyone who choses to stay clear of the dem. ticket this year is a racist - you really need to educate yourself rather than spewing out false accusations about people you don’t even know. One can only wonder what has YOU so filled with anger that you would lash out in such a ridiculous manner.

No one here is disputing that Obama is intelligent - we would be fools to do that.

By the way, I think you meant that we can’t FOOL God, not FULL God..but whatever, I guess that is me being nit-picky.

And you’re right, we can’t fool God - even Obama can’t with his twisted use of Scripture…but that is whole other post/debate and based on your comments here I seriously doubt you could handle that debate.
