Hillary Voters Choosing John McCain

Hat Tip: Little Green Footballs
I watched Hillary Clinton speak last night at the Democratic Convention. I kept switching it back and forth from FOX News to CNN. (That’s what I do most times when I’m waiting for something OR trying to gather up information)
One thing I noticed is that Hillary Clinton supporters are pissed and upset that Obama didn’t ask Hillary Clinton to be his running mate. I can’t say that I blame them.
You could look out into the crowd and see the tears welling up inside of some while others held up signs for Hillary Clinton as if somehow a miracle would happen and she would be the Democratic nominee and not Obama.
According to Fox News there were reports of Hillary supporters forming outside the convention. CNN was not reporting on that.. which I found to be of interest.
I was moved when Chelsea Clinton introduced her Mom to the stage. Even though I don’t agree with Clinton politics, it was something else to see a Woman come as far as Hillary Clinton has. I don’t think she’s going to give up. She’ll be running again for President in 2012. I felt as if her speech reflected that facts as well.
I was a bit disgusted when I saw Bill Clinton’s reaction to his wife. I think he was proud of her but it seemed as if his pride stemmed from his own selfish ambitions. There was something smug about the look on his face. I’ll be looking for his speech tonight.
(Sometimes I write ahead on my blogs so that I have something to share with you guys when I’m not home to access my computer, FYI)
I thought Hillary did an ok job when it came time to speak on making sure that the Democratic Party votes as a united front for Obama. I agreed with FOX News that she didn’t really speak much about Obama’s character or that perhaps she was hasty in some of her wording when running against him. You all have seen the YouTubes and have watched the reports. It’s hard to cut up the facts on how Clinton and Biden really feel about whether or not Obama can run this country. Interestingly enough, CNN felt that she did an excellent job with her speech. Yeah, for herself because she knows she’s going to run for President in 2012.
Back to Hillary’s supporters.. they are pissed off.
Most of the Hillary supporters will be voting for McCain unless they are of those that vote Democratic because their folks voted Democrat, and their folks voted Democrat, and it’s become such a tradition that they will not even consider looking at the issues because then that would be going against their ancestors. I say Whatever!
Don’t vote Democrat because you’re registered a Democrat. Don’t vote Republican because you’re registered a Republican. Don’t vote a certain way because you don’t want to piss your family off either. Look at the issues, check out the experience, and go with the person that you feel is going to do right by this country. And if you don’t want your taxes to go up then make sure you figure THAT one out because my taxes are already sky high as it is..

I’m not following your Bill Clinton analysis. Just what expression should be on his face, at the end of the day, she was robbed of the nomination.
I also don’t think Clinton supporters wanted her on Obama’s ticket. Clearly the democrats lost a huge opportunity to tie the 90’s into 8 failed years that would now be rekindled by Hillary Clinton as the nominee.
Too bad for the D.N.C. not believing in Fair Reflection in the caucus states.

A true Hillary Clinton supporter would have been happy with whatever position she could get to help with this election.
You don’t understand my Bill Clinton issue because you like Bill Clinton and I don’t.
Do me a favor and stick to sharing 1 legit link when you leave a comment on my blog. It’s available to you when you fill out the comment form and leave a legit comment that is in line with the discussion.
Otherwise, posting a bunch of links (which I did remove) will look as if you are trying to advertise on my blog. I’m not digging that at all.
Have some consideration. This isn’t a pin-up-board. This is a discussion.
