Here’s a direct link just in case
I haven’t been around much because I’ve been having a nice time visiting with my brother Christopher and his family. They drove all the way up from Texas and spent about a week with us. It was a nice visit.
We also celebrated Don’s Grandpa’s 90th Birthday. Can you even imagine living to be 90 years old? How Awesome is THAT!?
I won’t be around next week. I have my 20th high school reunion to go to and that will be down in Texas. It’s going to be HOT FUN in the HOT Texas sun for sure!
I get to fly in and spend time with my best friend since I was 12 years old on Wednesday. We’ll be hanging out.. ringing in our week together. It will be a nice time.
This is an interesting video with excellent points that have been made about Barack Hussein Obama. The points that have been made are not based on "feelings" but on facts.

It blows my mind that someone could see that, hear that, know that, and still believe Obama is the right person for this country.

If anyone is swayed by that video, they wouldn’t have voted for Obama in the first place.
This is a critiques of the video, not anyone here.
The flag pin? They brought that up again? You should consider someone’s patriotism in their heart and words, not a hunk of metal signifying their flag (probably made in China). I have seen him wearing it as well. I could show you tons of pictures of politicians (including Bush, McCain, and Hillary Clinton) not wearing a flag pin. You’ve got to be kidding me.
They brought up his name? You know what? I think John McCain is an English sounding name (even if it’s not English). Shoot, he must be an imperialist determined to turn America back into a British colony! Someone’s name has no matter on who they are. My name is fairly Irish. Damn, that must mean I’m IRA or a Catholic bomber! Give me a break. He didn’t name himself. There is nothing wrong with his name.
Obama spent 2 years in a Muslim school in Jakarta! He must be a terrorist! Oh man, I spent 10+ years in a Catholic school! Look out altar boys, that must mean I molest children. There is no evidence to say either Obama or I will do either. I don’t think two years in a school that he probably was forced to attend could shape someone’s life decades down the road.
Oh no, his Houston office has a flag with Ernesto “Che” Guevara on it! Barack Obama must have hung that on the wall himself! He’s got to be communist! No. He obviously can’t control all of his supporters. I doubt Obama has ever entered that office. Also, last time I checked, being communist isn’t illegal. The policies that video lists are not exclusive to the Democratic party either. President Bush has enlarged the government while in power. He must be a communist! I don’t think anyone here would call him one. I don’t think that dumb flag means Obama is communist, either.
Michelle Obama says she can finally feel proud of our nation. I think that can be accurate. I love my nation, but I hate the people in power. Lately, we haven’t done too much to be proud of. I think most people could agree with that. I don’t think causing the deaths of over 4000 American soldiers and 1 million Iraqis is a good thing, especially when the administration lied to the people and made up evidence for a war. How could anyone be proud of that? I could bring up tons more reasons to not be proud of America. I could also bring up tons more to be proud of. We are not perfect, though we can hopefully do out best.
Sometimes it’s tough to find reasons to be proud to be an American. We are a good nation most of the time. We do have our bad points. People can have their opinions.
I could bring up the Wright connection as well. Obama has since denounced him, which of course is a bad thing on all sides. I don’t like any part of it, though Obama is a politician and will do what he can to be elected. But I talked that to death on another post.
There are tons of other things I could say about the video. It’s just a propaganda video telling negative points about a candidate. Any person could make on just as damaging for either John McCain or Hillary Clinton. It would be extremely easy. Neither of the candidates are perfect.
I know conservative people here will rip into me. I am just voicing my opinion. That is a first amendment right, and I am happy to use it, even though Bush is doing his best to take my rights away from me. People may twist my words too. I know ptg will call me a communist, liberal, unwashed, and an idiot. That’s his right, but it doesn’t do anything to weaken my arguments. It only reflects worse on him. I could do the same thing back and quote direct comments from his other blogs. He has tons of extremely racist postings that I could talk about. But would that be a good thing to just go insulting people? Probably not. That has nothing to do with this posting.
Like I said, people who watch this video and believe what it says probably wouldn’t have voted for Obama anyway. Vote for someone because of their policies. I feel that Obama offers our country much more than McCain does. People here probably won’t agree with that.
Besides, arguing on the internet will get us nowhere. I won’t sway any conservatives with my words (even though I hope I do), and they are unlikely to make me conservative either. People will always disagree.

oh pa lees go take a bath. Obama is not experienced enough to lead this great nation of ours not matter what pin her wears. Nor his wife the white hating radical fit to be our first lady. Go bump fists with her. Unless perhaps you are a “whitey” as she calls you.
She won’t dare touch you then!

I believe a person’s merit and character define who they are and NOT the color of their skin.
Let me repeat myself..
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
